3 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 cup flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1-3/4 cups chopped dates

1 cup walnuts (optional)

Mix sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and eggs, then fold in dates and walnuts (optional). Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes in a 9x13 baking pan. Cut into bar shapes and roll in powdered sugar. Yummy!
